Come visit the beautiful central California coast and improve your outdoor painting skills. You will find inspiration among the atmospheric coastal bluffs, crashing waves, towering redwood forests and spring wildflowers of the Monterey Bay sanctuary.
Scott will demonstrate his process and provide individual instruction each day. This workshop is designed to be a fun and exciting learning experience in spectacular scenery while Scott shares his experience and ideas to help you reach and stretch to create better paintings on location.
Some of the topics of instruction will include elements of composition and design, color theory, brushwork, materials discussion and simplification of a scene to create a painting on location. Individual instruction will focus on each student's development and particular needs.
To best ensure your safety during the workshop we will be practicing social distancing and use of masks as appropriate when distancing is not possible. Demos, lectures and personal instruction will be designed with safety in mind.
